how cool is it that i get to collect metal working tools and beads, stones of many colors and call it a "job"?
for many years i was on the class mailing list for a bead shop in san diego...i'd taken a wire wrapping class in 1985 that was interesting but not addictive. after 10 YEARS of receiving class schedules, i enrolled in a Carl Stanley jewelry workshop and my mind about exploded with all the things i could create..I was hooked....I've continued my metal smith education by taking classes using different materials and techniques. over time i've acquired tools that assist in bringing my creations to life.
there is a limit to how much jewelry i can wear at one time (truth be told i don't wear any, 'cuz my cats think they are toys for them to bite and bat at) so i started selling my pretties
I love how my items are being worn by folks across the USA. the thrill of getting a thankyou note from a buyer telling me they love my work will never get old.
